Making Higher Education Visible in the Age of AI

Ibex Insights helps universities, colleges, and graduate programs attract and enroll students through AI-powered research, traditional and generative search optimization, marketing, and AI agents. Underneath all of it sits our flagship data platform: a free benchmarking tool covering 5,700+ institutions across 150+ metrics from seventeen public data sources. Every strategy we run starts from that evidence, not guesswork.

Our mission

The way students discover and evaluate higher education has fundamentally changed. They search on Google, ask ChatGPT, browse AI-powered answer engines, and read social content long before they ever fill out an inquiry form. Most institutions are invisible in these channels.

Ibex Insights exists to close that gap. We help institutions show up where students are actually looking, in traditional search, generative AI results, and AI-powered discovery platforms. The same public benchmarking data behind our free tool grounds every engagement, so recommendations trace back to evidence rather than guesswork.

Our AI agents automate the operational work that drains institutional staff, from student retention monitoring to financial reporting, so teams can focus on what matters: serving students.

Hamza Qureshi

Founder & Principal

MSc, Physics & Machine Learning Quantitative research

Hamza is a physicist and machine-learning researcher by training. He holds an MSc in Physics and Machine Learning from the University of Calgary, where he also taught experimental design, statistical analysis, and lab methods to graduate and undergraduate students. That background shapes how Ibex works: enrollment decisions should run on measured evidence, not hunches.

He founded Ibex Insights to bring that quantitative rigor to higher education, an industry competing for student attention as more of the search runs through AI. His work sits at the intersection of search technology, machine learning, and enrollment strategy: not just where students search, but how AI systems surface and recommend institutions, and what the underlying data actually says.

The same discipline runs through Ibex's flagship data tool, which benchmarks 5,700+ institutions across 150+ metrics drawn from seventeen public data sources. Across nearly a decade building data-driven organizations, running research and grant pipelines, and shipping models into production, Hamza has focused on one thing: turning complex analysis into decisions leaders can act on, inside the regulatory environment (FERPA, accreditation, Title IV) that shapes institutional strategy.
